Excalibur doesn't show everything blank

Hi,

I've been using Excalibur for around a year with no issues but it stopped working on me today.

I noticed my Excalibur shortcuts weren't working today and the unsheathe command didn't work either. When I click on Window > Extensions > Excalibur Settings this window pops up. It's missing all my shortcuts and clicking on any button apart from the red X to close it does nothing:

I then downloaded and installed the most recent version of Excalibur but the problem persisted. I uninstalled Excalibur using these instructions (https://manuscript.knightsoftheeditingtable.com/extensions/excalibur/uninstall) then reinstalled it and the problem persists.

This issue is very recent, I think it started either today or yesterday. I didn't update Premiere to a new version or make any changes to the Excalibur or Premiere folders as far as I know.

Does anyone know what to do in this situation?

hello today my software version 1.2.8 suddenly has an error not showing shortcuts i need help with this problem, the application still shows in premiere but everything is blank no response. tried all ways to kill viruses, i read the permission section for premiere pro. but i don't understand how can anyone help me?

i use the latest version of premiere pro

Replying to say thank you Sir Ivan! Your solution solved my problem. Taking out the file in the Spellbook folder is what worked for me.

I am having the same problem with 1.2.9. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it doesn't seem to function. I cannot see any commands nor can I add new commands. I have moved files out of the directory that also did not seem to help. Any suggestions?

SirCutsAlot What OS and Premiere Pro version do you use (exact number, e.g. 10.14.5)?

Can you share screenshot of Excalibur Settings (command tab)?

The Add User Command button as well as close button also do not function.

Hi! I tried all the suggested options. I managed to restore the “Commands” tab, but the search bar with Ctrl + Space still doesn’t work.

Also, right now I can’t add hotkeys

S123 did you try second part of fix (spell book commands file)?
move this file to Desktop and restart Premiere Pro:

[win]: C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\SpellBook\knights_of_the_editing_table.excalibur.json
[mac]: /Users/%username%/Library/Application Support/SpellBook/knights_of_the_editing_table.excalibur.

Also, do you have antivirus:
