Paste Insert Command

Hi there! New to Excalibur and LOVE IT; however for a project that I'm working on I'd LOVE to use customize the paste insert function and sadly Excalibur doesn't have this. I use paste insert all the time for sequences and ESPECIALLY when putting together Selects timelines where I use different tracks as a rating system. If paste-insert clip could be added in a new version that'd be amazing; that and the ability to paste onto any track we want rather than highest or lowest

There are shortcuts in Premiere Pro to paste insert on the same track or target track.
What if you will create a user command that will:

target specific track
use Keyboard Shortcut command to trigger "paste insert to target track"

That said, I will write down your feature request.

Thank you! I actually just discovered that right after posting this; But I'd love the ability to paste insert to specific tracks without having to target then paste; as a shortcut for instance paste insert to track 3 because that's where I put my super selects or to track 8 because that's where I put future VFX shots; Excalibur already has the ability to program a script for that with normal paste but I'd just love to also paste insert
