Hi there,
i always use the beta version on Premiere pro. but since the version of premiere is updated to v25, excalibur doesn't start. It shows up on the extesions tab in Premiere, but it doesn't start.
I am on Windows 11.
Is there a fix?

Thanks Steve.

Iceman149 Sir Steve, try to reinstall Excalibur.
If it is shown in Extension tab, but doesn't open, it means extension signature is broken (maybe OS changed some file inside extension).

I have already try to reinstall but it doesn't help. On the current version (24) works fine. Only the (v25 beta) has the issue!

Iceman149 I had the same issue. I always forget with new PPro to enable required permissions in system settings. Accessibility, input commands etc. After doing that, all is working normally in Beta 25.1 HTH.

      4 days later

Iceman149 it could be related to signature failure on this beta.
      Could you try this:
Open regedit > HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Adobe/CSXS.12, then add a new entry PlayerDebugMode of type string with the value of 1.

      a month later

Hello! Just updated Premiere to v25 and Excalibur doesn't open. It shows up in the Extensions tab though.
Coming from Mac OS Sequoia 15.0.1. Is that a known issue?

Sir_Ivan I had already granted permissions to Premiere Pro through Privacy & Security > Input Monitoring but it didn't work. I then did the same in Privacy & Security > Accessibility and everything's back to normal.

This short break made me realise how much my workflow now depends on my lovely Excalibur shortcuts!
        Cheers!
