ExtendScript API to add presets

Hi, I've been scripting for premiere pro and I noticed that there isn't any command in its api to add presets. But excalibur does that. So, I wanted to ask anyone who has any idea about the development of excalibur that what commands do they use to add presets through extendscript api?

harsh588 indeed there is no command to apply presets. What Excalibur does is that it applies effect and then modifies values of effect according to preset values. That is why there are some limitations for keyframes and Lumetri presets.

oh that's good to hear. Bruce from Adobe keeps scarring me not to use it in my panel. Have you seen any downside of using Qe in your code?

harsh588 as far as I know, Bruce just says that it is not supported, thus removing responsibility from Adobe team. To use it or not, is a decision for us to make.
Overall it is solid, you just should be ready for different logic, in comparison to official API and test for crashes before releasing an extension.
