Not sure if there's a soloution to this already, but would it be possible to have a feature where when you select individual clips to export that it doesn't mute the other clips?

It would be quite handy, specifically for what I'm doing because I need to export individual clips with specific shot names. Having this feature would then mean I can highlight my text layers that have the shot names already included and then I won't have to go in and manually rename all the files after export

I will think of that and some not complex solution.

Hey all! I recently bought Excalibur after editing on Premiere for many years. The primary reason I bought it (and plan to use it) is for exporting selected clips. However, I'm wondering if there's a way to make it work for me in a different use-case.

Here, I'm wondering if I can get Excalibur to automatically export vertical groupings of clips by setting in, out, and exporting like it does with individual clips. Unfortunatley, the built-in tool goes a step further and exports each video on each track separately.

Basically, from the timeline below, I'm trying to automate a way to export 6 clips, quickly (the full timeline has many, many more clips than that). The built-in "export selected clips" macro in Excalibur would export 20 clips.

I'm aware making After Effects MoGrTs, changing the text in premiere, then exporting clips using Excalibur would work, but I don't really want to redo last year's work.

sqwertyf currently Excalibur will export one clip at a time, disabling all other tracks.
I plan to add a feature to export portions of timeline at marker regions. So it would be possible to add bunch of marker regions and then perform batch export.

I'll be buying Excalibur as soon as this is implemented! I've got the exact same use case but putting down marker regions seems like it'll just be an extra step. It'd be great to have some sort of automation that exports each of the 'segments' on my timeline, perhaps by looking for the 'blank' frames on either side as in/out points? In my use case, each of my segments has an adjustment layer running over the top of it, so it might be easier to just export segments based on that video layer. I'd love your thoughts and an update on this when you can!

Merged 3 posts from Exporting vertical stacks of clips?.

jaykamtv I think there will be both marker region export command and "don't mute other tracks" option for Export Selected clips command.

+1 to this feature with the "don't mute other tracks" option. I often cull and color hundreds of B-roll clips and then need to export each one individually to deliver to a client. Right now I do that with in and out points and send it all to Media Encoder. This functionality would be AMAZING to have.
