It would be cool if users had the ability to save the settings they have for Excalibur on one computer and either be to able to sync to another computer or export the settings in a file format that can be imported on a second computer. I'm not sure if that is possible now but it would be cool to have.

NLE_Ninja It is possible and you even can do it now, manually, but of course I will add proper UI for that.

[mac] /Users/username/Library/Application Support/Knights of the Editing Table
copy excalibur folder (there are only invisible files inside) an save it to your cloud/flash drive
paste excalibur folder on another machine to
[win] C:/Users/username/AppData/Roaming/Knights of the Editing Table
[mac] /Users/username/Library/Application Support/Knights of the Editing Table

Sir_Ivan I was wondering in which file the shortcuts are saved. There is a shortcuts file but it's almost empty and the commands in there are not the ones I set in Excalibur.
In the cmdlist file I could find the command but not the shortcut of the command.

For Watchtower it's almost the same question but with folder settings. I see a settings file but that's only for file types.
Do I need to save something else on a different location?

I am eagerly waiting for this to be implemented in the UI. This would be of a great help since I work on a Desktop PC and a laptop. This will streamlime the synchronisation of my 2 workstations!

For Watchtower you don't need settings files, as folders are saved inside the project file. Only if you want settings for folder filter and file extensions.

Ah, okay. I got confused because there's also a "Spell Book" folder in the "Knights of the Editing Table" folder.
The exportpresets and presetaction don't need to be transferred if there are not the same presets on the new device, right?

How would that work in Watchtower for new projects? I would have to set my (relative) folders in every new project, no?
Edit: Okay, I just remembered, I don't create a new project but instead copy a template with PostHaste. That's almost second nature to me now.
But that means, the relative path linking and flattening of folders is entirely save-able in the Premiere project file? Interesting!
