I've known about Excalibur for awhile but just finally decided to buy it. This may be a already known issue but my work around didn't work either. One Thing I use a lot is a copy and pasted Transform tool on captions to make them pop. You can apply a Transform with Excalibur but are not able to set the keyframes. So I made a preset effect to have the keyframes. When you right click on the effect in the effects tab you can go to preset properties and set the type to "Anchor to in point" That way the keyframes have the same speed on each caption clip no matter how long each caption is. When the effect is dragged over it works as intended. When effect is applied by Excalibur it scales the effect to length of the clip and makes the effect speed inconsistent.
Expected Behavior
Expected Behavior would be when the effect is applied it would keep the same property of "anchor to in point"
Actual Behavior
instead it defaults back to "Scale"
Possible Fix
I don't know how to code well enough to fix this
