Hi,
I’m currently looking into using Quiver for Premiere Pro and I have a few questions before fully committing to building my workflow around it.
1. How are clips and sequences stored inside Quiver?
If I drag-and-drop clips or sequences into the plugin panel and map them to shortcuts, are they saved permanently in the plugin configuration?
In other words:
• Do I only need to add them once?
• Will they still be available with the same keybindings every time I relaunch Premiere?
• Or do I need to re-add them per project / per session?
2. Is there any limit to how many items can be added?
3. Track placement behavior (very important for my workflow)
Let’s say my timeline already has:
• A video clip on V1
• An image on V2
If I trigger a saved sequence that contains:
• An adjustment layer
• A sound effect
Will Quiver:
• Automatically place the video content on the next available free video track (e.g. V3) without overwriting anything?
• Automatically place the SFX on the next available audio track?
Or does it strictly follow the currently targeted tracks in Premiere?
Basically I’m trying to understand whether Quiver intelligently avoids overwriting existing timeline content, or if track targeting must always be manually managed before triggering the shortcut.
Thanks in advance Sir!
