Excalibur v 1.3.2 not working in Premier Pro 26

Greetings, Sir Ivan! Thanks for your great extension!
I updated Premier Pro to version 26 and Excalibur to version 1.3.2, but this extension still doesn't work for me as with version 1.3.1. I also noticed that I can't reassign the keyboard shortcuts for Unsheathing Excalibur or Open Settings. Nothing happens when I try.

What works:
I can still see and open Excalibur Settings via Window>Extensions

What doesn't work:
'Shift-Space' Unsheathing Excalibur
Any hotkeys to run Excalibur commands do nothing

Excalibur version: 1.3.2
Premiere version: 26.0.0 Build 72
OS: MacOS Tahoe 26.2

Paul if you are already on 1.3.2, then let's do permissions check:

make sure you have granted macOS permissions to Premiere Pro:

http://manuscript.knightsoftheeditingtable.com/extensions/excalibur/compatibility/macos-permissions

If you’ve already granted permissions, try to reset permissions (sometimes macOS doesn't have them right):

give permissions to Premiere Pro (accessibility & input monitoring), skip if permissions already granted
untick Premiere Pro in permissions
restart computer
tick Premiere Pro back in permissions
launch Premiere Pro and test

Finally, if nothing above will help, let’s turn to some black magic.

This will reset All permissions for Premiere 2026 on your machine, so you will need to give other permissions again (access desktop, documents folder):

open terminal
paste and press enter (password confirmation is required):
sudo tccutil reset All com.adobe.PremierePro.26
restart computer manually
open Premiere Pro and test (give permissions if prompted)

had the same Issue and I just checked the community here for the first time, since I feel crippled without Excalibur. I just wanted to say that this kind of Service is what gives me a lot more the feeling of "This is so worth the money". I appricciate your work and consistent attention to the clients/ Community.

Hello, Sir Ivan.

I followed the steps from the thread to try to fix the Excalibur issue in Premiere Pro 26 (including the permissions reset using tccutil).

Now the situation is worse than before:

Excalibur still does not work

The spacebar no longer plays / pauses

I suspect other shortcuts may also be broken or unresponsive, but I have not been able to test all of them yet

Before applying the reset, I was at least able to open the settings from Window > Extensions. Now the issue seems to also affect basic Premiere controls.

My system details:

Excalibur: 1.3.2

Premiere Pro: 26.0.0 (Build 72)

macOS: Sonoma

Is there any additional step you would recommend to properly restore permissions or keyboard input handling in Premiere? Or should I revert something from the process I followed?

close Premiere
uninstall Excalibur and old Spell Book:

move Excalibur/Spell Book settings to the Desktop:

/Users/USERNAME/Library/Application Support/Knights of the Editing Table/excalibur
/Users/USERNAME/Library/Application Support/SpellBook/knights_of_the_editing_table.excalibur.json

after that reinstall Excalibur and test

Big fan of your work, and love your plugins!
I am having the same issue as good sir Paul here but I am on Windows.

Windows 11 pro, Version 10.0.26200 Build 26200
Premier Pro 26.0.0 Build 72

This seems to happen after every Premier update, so I will be doing it less often haha!
I tried Premier Pro 26.0.1 also, but to no avail.

Any help would be amazing!

Uninstalling Merlin, Excalibur, and and old Spell Book:
