I’ve been using a Mac M2 Ultra for a while now, and Premiere Pro is performing really well—no more crashes like I had with Windows. Excalibur works great too. However, there’s one shortcut I use all the time: the add/remove keyframes shortcut for position, rotation, and scale. The problem is that when I press the shortcut on my Logitech G600 button, it takes about 2 seconds to apply the keyframes, which is a bit frustrating for me since I like to speedrun some of my projects. If I press the stopwatches manually, there’s no delay.
I’ve noticed that if I have fewer cuts in the project, the performance is faster, but as the project gets bigger, this behaviour starts to occur. Do you have any suggestions for what could be causing this slowdown? Is there any chance we can expect a fix? Thank you!
On Windows i didn't had this slow down.
Specs: Mac M2 Ultra connected to a studio display editing at 2k res.
Files: OBS 3840x1080 nested in two tracks to make a cam and gameplay.
x264 and HEVEC (same problem)
Editing from a Samsung T7 external SSD, but as far as i remember i had this problem even with files not on a SSD.
