Is there a way to add a command for the project panel modify>interpret footage>framerate?

royalbluemike you can create user command with keyboard shortcuts (KS) simulation.

KS: Interpret footage... (define shortcut in Premiere Pro)
KS: Arrow down (to change selection)
KS: Tab (to get to frame rate input)
multiple KS: numbers
KS: Enter

Thank you, I didn't know that was available. I tried setting that up and it isn't working. It just shifts the highlight window from project to timeline. Am I doing this correctly?

royalbluemike because Excalibur is timeline centric plugin (at the moment), whenever you execute command Excalibur will first focus your timeline.
To get around it, you will need to add before everything:
KS: activate Project panel window (I think default is shift+1)

this way it will be active one and your shortcuts should work from there.

Good to know, thanks. I can see it opening the interpret footage box now, but the down function does not seem to be working. I removed the return command, and it is selected on the next section down (pixel aspect ratio).

I'm new to the extension, so I'm just figuring out how all of this setup works.

royalbluemike try manually to achieve what you need (with keyboard presses) and then replicate this sequence of actions in user command.

For some reason the keyboard shortcuts are working except for the directional buttons. I tried down and right as they both work when I try it manually. Also shift+down.

I was looking through some other posts as well. I am on Windows and tried it with and without numlock and it makes no difference.

I've made a little fix.
There will be no timeline refocus between "Keyboard shortcut" executions.
However, there still will be timeline refocus, after you will close search bar, so to compensate this, at the start of your user command add:

Keyboard Shortcut: Project Panel (Shift+1)

Oh I see, on Windows Excalibur focuses on timeline during user command and so it losses focus on Interpret footage window.

I guess this won't work for now, I will need to rewrite some things in Excalibur to make it work.
