Excalibur 1.2.2 taking 20-30 seconds to process commands

Hey!

Just started having these issues after the update. The commands just take a long time to process like 20-30 seconds. Is there any chance that having Watchtower running at the same time might slow things down a bit?

Or do you know of any reasons or fixes for it being this slow?

Hello there! Yes, it is possible while Watchtower performs sync, that Excalibur will take longer, as it waits for Watchtower to finish its work (API is sequential).

You can test it, by temporary removing Watchtower from extensions.

That issue is known and will be fixed in future Watchtower update.

Hey! Yeah, I did uninstall watchtower and every other problem was resolved. It was starting to effect other plugins and Premiere features. Look forward to the update as it's a super great plugin!

I don't know how possible this is in the API but could you potentially even make it not actively search the folders but available as a hotkey that I can push anytime I want to refresh the folders? That could even be a setting you just turn on for others who have intensive 3rd party and control surface solutions.

framevoyager there will be multiple improvements:

API won't be occupied that much as it is now
a shortcut for syncing will exists
