I like to cut from a Source Sequence (maybe SELECTS or a STRINGOUT of a scene).
But what I'd like to do is be able to match frame from my edit to that exact location in my Source Sequence.
NOT match frame to the original clip!
I want to keep my Source Sequence active and loaded in my source monitor. But I want to press a button which takes me to that same exact point, so I can see straight away what else I have in that Source Sequence.
NOTE 1: This is called Reverse Match Frame, or Find Frame in Avid and it's a way of working that many Avid editors understand, but not many PPro editors seem to understand why I'd want this.
NOTE 2: Also not pancake editing. I know I can have two timelines open, then match Frame to original clip, open other sequence, reverse match frame to the right point, but this loses the whole point of being able to load a sequence as a source sequence.
