USER: Something that would be great to accomplish with a single keyboard shortcut or searchable command would be to create an audio dip: 4 audio keyframes with user selectable defaults for the gap duration between the first 2 and last 2 keyframes, as well as how low the audio should dip. The user could set the defaults in Excalibur's settings. When calling up the command through a search or a keyboard shortcut, a window could pop up showing the default values for dip length and amount. If the user hits Enter, the defaults are applied. If the user wants to make any changes, they can simply enter new values before hitting Enter.
I created a User Command for this, but it's messy (10 commands no less!) and it only creates 4 keyframes without lowering the volume. I'm pretty sure it would be possible to program something better into Excalibur. 🙂
