Excalibur not unsheathing in 23.1.0 on Mac with M2

Hi Sir_Ivan,
I just installed Excalibur and PP on a new Mac Mini OS 13.2 with M2 chip. I followed the instructions about setting the permissions. I see Excalibur under Extensions, but when I hit the hot key, it doesn't launch.

Any advice?

If you open Excalibur Settings, is it possible to change any of the shortcuts?

Try to reset permissions (sometimes macOS doesn't have them right):

give permissions to Premiere Pro (accessibility/input monitoring), skip if permissions already granted
untick Premiere Pro in permissions
restart computer
tick Premiere Pro back in permissions
launch Premiere Pro and test

I can add a new command and edit it, but I can't change the existing shortcuts.

I did go through the reset the permissions steps previously (and tried it again now just for kicks) and it didn't help.

Any other ideas?

Try to some black magic.
This will reset All permissions for Premiere 2023 on your machine, so you will need to give other permissions again (access desktop, documents folder):

open terminal
paste and press enter (password confirmation is required):
sudo tccutil reset All com.adobe.PremierePro.23
restart computer manually
open Premiere Pro and test (give permissions if prompted)

I'm in the same boat with a new M2. Is there a way to manually unsheath so I can enter my serial?

ajgentile there is no manual way, but entering the serial won't fix the issue.
Did you try methods above: resetting and using sudo tccutil command?

No luck with tccutil.

I am able to delete the unsheathing keystroke, but I don't see a way to add a different one. I don't know if the OS is capturing my opt-space.
