USER1: I noticed that adding markers only adds to the sequence above the work area bar, there's no option to add markers to clip. Premiere does allow you to add markers to clip as long as clip is selected, it will add it to clip instead of to sequence, so, would be cool to see an extra option in Excalibur called "add marker to clip" and rename the "add marker" to "add marker to sequence".
USER2: In the instances I want to mark a clip that will be added in the source clip it will be visible in the timeline and vice versa. At the moment I will have to open the marker window and drag the outpoint so the text will be visible. This feature is of course not a live or die-thing, but since you’re a sorcerer…
