Not sure if this was already sugested or if its possible to achieve in any way but it would be cool to be able to create a version of a sequence (duplicate) and all of its nests inside. Basically, it would create a new version of a sequence and also it would create a new version of all nests inside so they point to this new sequence. This is part of why I don't use nests so much lately because if I create a new version of a sequence that nest will still be pointing to the new version but also to the previous version and if I alter it I will have these changes in both sequences.
Of course you could use graverobber make a new version and then nest again but its a little tedious for me.
Here is a plugin on aescripts which does that https://aescripts.com/duplicate-it/ The reason why I don't buy it is not because of money but because I still try to keep plugin list at a minimum. I hope this can be achievable in Excalibur even if it means paying additionally for a premium version, or maybe there can be a separate script to Excalibur.
