Any way to Delete only selected tracks in timeline?

I'd like to be able to select multiple tracks in the timeline, then delete them all with a single command (similar to how Avid Media Composer works). Is there any way to accomplish this in Excalibur?

Not currently although I've tried to make a macro. The current workaround is the remove track command which can go after empty tracks or selected tracks or the Simplify Sequence function which has a setting for removing empty tracks. I'm sure some Avid editor has asked for this via Adobe UserVoice as I see a few Avid functions that have shown up in the beta

Ahh, I would have never thought of using Simplify Sequence for this task! It's a bit clunky in that it has to create a copy of the sequence, but at least it accomplishes what I'm looking for. Thanks for that tip!

It'd be nice if you could just do this in the same sequence, though. Hopefully there might be a away to do this in Excalibur in a future release?

MelMatsuoka Hopefully. I know Sir Ivan prolly has a house full of feature requests at this point. I would also venture to let the Premiere beta team know you would like this feature added. It would be nice to control it with a command that also I can macro to Excalibur.

Yep, targeting would be the most sensible way. This is how it works in Avid. Thanks!
