Automated Rendering of After Effects Comps?

I have to render all my after effects compositions and then manually add them to the timeline in Premiere over where they would normally fall - would I be able to automate this process with Excalibur?

Vamplosion Do you want render AE comps in timeline (I think you asked this question on Reddit)?

I think you can achieve the same without Excalibur.
You can select all AE clips in sequence (if they have distinct label color, it is easy with "Select Label Group" shortcut). And then just use Render and Replace command.
Of course you can create user command for that in Excalibur, if you want to.
Excalibur will have coding logic in the future, so it will be possible to use if/else statements.

Thanks - yeah that's what I was wondering.

Doing a bit of tinkering I've set 2 custom keys to stream deck button input - one for select label group 'X' - and one for render and replace

So in the future I'll be able to set that to one button with a

If label group 'x' -> render and replace

logic input?

Vamplosion yes, logic input should be a part of Excalibur coding block, when I will implement it 😅
