I try to add user commands consisting only of a keyboard shortcut so that when I search for an action it appears in Exclaibur and I don't have to remember every keyboard shortcut (it's also much quicker to assign). For example, I have bound 'Replace with Clip; From Source Monitor' to Shift-R, and created a user command called 'Replace with Clip; From Source Monitor' which has the keyboard shortcut Shift-R within it.
My issue is that when I string multiple user commands together within a user command they become inconsistent and can run out of sequence, causing unexpected behavior within Premiere.
One sequence that works as a string of Keyboard shortcuts, but not as a string of user commands is:
Match Frame - F
Mark In Point - I
Focus on timeline window - Ctrl+Alt+Shift+]
Replace with clip; from source monitor - Shift R
The desired effect is moving the starting point of a clip to the playhead without changing the duration, instead of having to use the slip tool.
