USER: With 'Selection Follows Playhead' turned on (which I always have on since it's so useful!), trying to add an Audio or Video transition with Pr's keyboard shortcuts is frustrating. This is because when placing the playhead between any 2 clips, the clip to the right automatically gets selected, at which point the shortcuts to apply an audio or video transition no longer work. The user needs to first manually deselect the clip by clicking in an empty portion of the Timeline, or use the 'Deselect All' shortcut (I have mine set to 'D'). Excalibur could easily solve this problem for users with 2-step Commands:
Apply Audio Transition = Deselect All + Apply Audio Transition
Apply Video Transition = Deselect All + Apply Video Transition
I solved this problem years ago by getting a G700s Logitech mouse with programmable buttons, 2 of which I programmed to perform steps 1 and 2 above. This would be another great selling feature for Excalibur, and one I imagine would be very easy for you to add!
