Add adjustment layer tweak

the add adjustment layer feature is nice, but I think would be better if there was an option that worked like this:

select clip on timeline
run new adjustment layer command
adjustment layer is automatically placed on track above selected clip
adjustment layer created matches duration duration of selected clip
(maybe this is already possible by creating a Excalibur macro with existing commands?)

dhj Interesting idea about matching duration of a selected clip. A bit complicated, but I like the idea.
I have a feature request to add "Overlay" option. Basically it will add item on a first empty track at playhead position.

Agree wholeheartedly that this would be a fantastic tweak to the adjustment layer. Whenever we make an adjustment layer, we always want it to stretch across whatever clip is selected or active. This would be a perfect implementation of an adjustment layer. 👌
