Flatten Sequence

This would select each vid clip and move it down and would move audio clips up. It could then auto trim the video clips if they are blocked or just move them as far as possible. It's basically like Tetris.

Resolve has a similar function, and I need it for quickly prepping stuff for mix or color or just basic cleaning up. Speaking of cleaning up.. select all disabled clips would be very helpful.

Wow! Just seeing this! I'm sure you're already working on it but worth asking — is there any way to cut the lag down of the saving/exporting of the sequence to XML or no, that's how you have to do it to get the functionality? I think it's probably fine since we'd mostly use this at the very end of a job as we prep for color, but was curious. 🙂

adamjrichman there is no proper API method to get disabled clips, so I'm using xml workaround and when exporting xml Premiere by default saves project and then you see export xml dialog.
Not cool, I agree, but I also agree that probably users will use it at the very end of a job 😅
