Description
There's an issue with network drive connectivity. Every time I close the watchtower folder panel it breaks the connection with the network drive(s). It'll auto import everything you check to import but as soon as you close the window and open the panel again it has to search for that network drive and it doesn't remember the folders previously selected.
Expected Behavior
When reopening the folder browser, Watchtower should remain connected to network drives during entire time premiere pro is open. Much the same way that File Explorer in Windows 10 handles networked drives.
Actual Behavior
When reopening folder window after marking files to sync, Watchtower forgets the file patch and starts a new search instance for networked drives.
Steps to Reproduce
- Launch Premiere Pro with Mapped Network Drive connected (in my case a qnap NAS) any other mapped network drive would probably work.
- Create or open an existing project file
- Open watchtower and select a list of folders to sync
- Let premiere import the synced files/folders
- Click on folder button in Watchtower extension again and you should see the file path hasn't been remembered and is now restarting the drive search for networked drives.
- Might need to close and restart premiere between steps 4 and 5 if for some reason it remembers the file path in step 5.
Context
I work through a NAS primarily when working on projects at my place of employment.
