Excalibur not unsheathing in 15.0.0 (macOS)

I upgraded to Premier Pro 15.0.0 and Excalibur is not unsheathing with option-space bar. I still see it in my extensions folder. I can turn off the short cut but not map a new key command to unsheath.

SOLVED: Yep, I had that issue too. Make sure you are giving Premiere disk write access in system settings, and keyboard access. By default it won’t be there on install, you can manually add it but I had success forcing Excalibur to ask for permission by simply loading the settings.

Yes, Premiere Pro 2021 (15.0.0) is treated as a different application from Premiere Pro 2020, so you also need to grant it permissions.
I'm not sure that you need Disk Write Access though, this one will be requested by Premiere Pro itself.

Also there is a problem sometimes when macOS doesn't read permissions properly. In that case you need to reset them:

give permissions to Premiere Pro (accessibility/input monitoring), skip if permissions already granted
untick Premiere Pro in permissions
restart computer
tick Premiere Pro back in permissions
launch Premiere Pro and test

I just purchased excalibur and updated Premiere Pro to 15.4.1. I'm on a 2020 MacBook Pro running Big Sur 11.2.2. When I first installed excalibur, the option-space bar command did nothing. I could not change them. Then I gave access to Premiere Pro everywhere I could find in system preferences: accessibility and security & privacy. I have reinstalled Premiere Pro and excalibur. Somewhere along the way I was prompted to put in the license. I did that, but then it now says the key command to unsheath excalibur is disabled. Please help. I cannot launch this extension.

I tried restarting, reinstalling etc one more time, not quite sure what I did but I'm in! at least for now...

mollyscanlon I might be wrong but think at some point you removed shortcut from Unsheathe Excalibur command. So you've granted permissions, but shortcut was disabled, so you needed to set it again.

In any case if you will have problem again, let me know!
